I was heading home today and I came across the most interesting street that I have discovered in Boston so far. Even better, it had some autumn colour from the trees above. Sometimes it pays to walk a different way to the station! 🙂
Pretty Victorian don’t you think?
Looks like an awesome place for a photo shoot!
It really is, will return with my proper camera next week. 🙂
Wonderful.
Most interesting find, Tom! I’m wondering (the way that is laid out with the cobblestones there) if that wasn’t a discontinued line that used to be part of the tram system at one point? Just seems very strange how that road is made…..cool, but strange.
Thanks! A lot of historic streets in England were cobbled so it’s probably just rather old too. I love cobbled streets!
If it wasn’t for the American flag, this could easily be a historic street in any of the older cities in England. Reminds me a little of some of Exeter’s city centre back streets, particularly those between the RAMM and the cathedral.
Yeah it really made me think of Gandy Street in Exeter and also of Victorian London with the style of the lamps. I’m glad I discovered it!
Look at the size of those cobbles! Definitely a pre car road. Always exciting to discover a new place in your own town.
It really is exciting, I hope to explore that area more in the future and find more interesting streets. 🙂
It is indeed pretty!
I’m glad you liked it, more autumn photos coming soon. 🙂

I love all of the brick, and the streetlamps. How pretty this must look decorated for the holidays.
It is a really pretty street, I will be returning closer to the holidays to see what they do with it! 🙂
