If you read my post from yesterday you will recall that Boston went a little bit Narnia with the help of some very wet sticky snow. As promised, here are the rest of my photos from my rather cold and damp but enjoyable wander around Boston Common after work. If you missed the first Photo Special you can find it here.
If you enjoy reading my blog why not like the Old England to New England Facebook page! You can find me here. 🙂
Beautiful snowy photos 🙂
Thank you! 🙂
great photos!
Glad you liked them. 🙂
Beautiful photos on both posts! It looks like a lovely place – do you have any summertime photos from there?
Thanks! You know I thought I had posted before but I had a search through the blog and I could only find one post with some in. I will have to rectify that! There is a pic in this post https://albiontoamerica.wordpress.com/2015/08/17/on-confronting-my-yoga-phobia-and-why-you-should-try-new-things/
The first one with the evergreen with the heavy snow on it and the bridge are my favs!
I’m glad you liked them, I think the bridge one is my fav too! 🙂
Ahhhhh. Lovely. Thanks
Boston looks deserted! I guess all the natives were staying inside where it was nice and warm.
Thanks! Most people were avoiding the slushy very wet snow so it was a great chance to get photos. The park is rarely so quiet. 🙂
Is that pond frozen or is my naïvete showing?
There’s ice around the edges which you can see in the fourth photo but most of it hasn’t frozen. Usually it’d be frozen solid by now, its been a mild winter. 🙂
Oh my!!
This is more great than the first one!
Thank you! Another post from a different location coming tomorrow. 🙂

Great photos – my favorite is the 3rd one. It appears to be a black and white photo until you see the buildings in the background,
Thank you! It was a grey day, I should have taken some in black and white. 🙂
😊
